Listening and Speaking I
Course Objectives:-
This course is intended to give students the opportunity to practice speaking and listening skills and develop fluency in English. It also aims at encouraging the use of specific grammatical structures, promoting fluency and improving communication skills.
Course Content:-
Students will be introduced to a wide range of listening tasks developed to reflect natural language including:
- Conversations
- Radio and television programs
- Instructions and directions
- Recorded messages
- Lectures and stories
Attainable Skills:-
Students will be able to understand and comprehend oral language and take part into a basic day to day conversation and interact in class without the need to use Arabic.
Methods of Assessment:-
Besides frequent quizzes & assignments, students will be given two major exams & a final exam.

Interactions I, Listening & Speaking 4th edition + Audio cassettes & CDs.
